Operating on the River Shannon since 2003, Shannon Princess has earned a reputation as one of Ireland’s most sought-after travel experiences. Now, under European Waterways’ full ownership, the barge will retain its popular Emerald Isle itinerary while undergoing enhancements to further elevate its offerings.
The Shannon Princess will continue to showcase the best of Ireland’s natural beauty, including vast verdant landscapes and charming villages, and its rich history as she navigates the River Shannon. The river cruise features a curated itinerary, complete with private whiskey tastings, guided tours of ancient castles, and opportunities for walking and fishing along the route. Onboard, guests can enjoy unique “Insider Experiences”, including live traditional Irish music, cooking demonstrations and exclusive visits to stately homes.
With a capacity of up to 10 passengers, the Shannon Princess provides capacious en suite cabins, and boasts a panoramic saloon, a spacious sun deck with a spa pool and a crew of five who are dedicated to providing impeccable service. Due to strong demand, European Waterways plans to extend the Shannon Princess cruising season in 2025 and beyond.
